If you've never met people from the third-smallest town in Texas, you'll get your chance at Shikles Auditorium this weekend and next.

Local actors Ken Thompson and Branden Bise of Capital City Players play the main characters and about a dozen others in "Tuna Does Vegas," the newest installment of the Tuna comedy productions.

The cast of characters, including Thurston Wheelis, Anna Conda, Inita Goodwin, Helen Bedd, and Vera Carp, hail from Tuna, Texas.

Their latest adventures take them to Vegas, much to the chagrin of local radio personalities, Arles Struvie and Bertha Bumiller.

The Players treat the audience to dinner before the show, so showgoers can make an evening of it for $30 per person.

Evening performances are Friday, Saturday and Monday, and April 1-2. Doors open at 6 p.m., dinner is served at 6:30 p.m., and the show starts at 7:30 p.m.

Matinee performances are Sunday and April 3. Doors open at noon, lunch is served at 12:30 p.m., and the show starts at 1:30 p.m.

Reservations are required as tickets will not be sold at the door.

Visit www.capitalcityplayers.com or call (573) 681-9012 to order tickets.

Evening tickets must be reserved by noon the day of the show, and by 9 a.m. for matinee performances.
