WARDSVILLE, Mo. - After a 10th-place finish at last year's state track and field championships, the Blair Oaks Lady Falcons are setting the bar higher.
"We have high expectations," Blair Oaks coach Marc Keys said. "Tenth is good, but we aim to do better this year. And as always, we look to get a top-four finish."
It's a bold statement.
But the Lady Falcons bring back a four-time state medalist along with a group of freshmen that will open the season today in a triangular with Helias and Jefferson City at Adkins Stadium.
