A Linn woman was charged Thursday in connection with the death of her 2-month-old son earlier this month.

According to Osage County court documents, Rachel Sweet, 28, is charged with one-count of first-degree involuntary manslaughter and one count of first-degree endangering the welfare of a child.

A probable cause statement filed by Osage County Sheriff Carl Fowler shows law officers and emergency personnel were sent to Sweet's home in Linn on March 8 in reference to a possible drowning of an infant.
