American Shakespeare Center is a professional acting troupe from Staunton, Va., where they perform on an authentic Shakespearean stage. The audience is part of the action as it surrounds the performers on three sides.

Tickets are $15 for adults, $5 for those 18 and under, and free for Lincoln University students with a valid ID.

The performance will be held in Langston Hughes Theatre inside the Martin Luther King building, 812 E. Dunklin St. in Jefferson City.
