Trash talk picking up again in Jefferson City

With less than a month until Jefferson City voters voice their opinions on the trash and recycling contract the city entered with Allied Waste Services in late 2009, both sides are starting to vie for public support.

The supporters of Proposition A, the Citizens Action Committee Against Ordinance 14487, took advantage of the public comment period of Monday night's City Council meeting to reach a broader audience.

One of the individuals addressing the council, Michael Brownstein, took umbrage with the confusion about the intent of the supporters of the proposition.
