Marcus Denmon was named Sixth Man of the Year for the Missouri Tigers the past two seasons.

According to Missouri head coach Mike Anderson, Denmon didn't want that award a third time. So he put in a lot of time in the offseason and that hard work paid off as the junior guard was named first-team All-Big 12 on Sunday by conference coaches.

Denmon leads the Tigers in scoring at 16.8 points per game and leads conference guards by making 51 percent of his shots.

The Kansas City native is among the top 10 in six statistical categories in the conference - seventh in points, second in 3-point shooting percentage (.457), fifth in field-goal percentage (.506), fourth in steals (1.7 avg.), and fifth in made 3-pointers per game (2.4).
