Two dogs bite Mid-Missouri postman

FULTON, Mo. - Two pit-bull terriers attacked a postman Tuesday afternoon and inflicted serious bite wounds to his face.

Police are withholding the name of the postman, pending notification of family. The postman - who works in Fulton, but lives in Jefferson City - was taken to University Hospital and is listed in serious condition.

Maj. Roger Rice said the postman was delivering mail at 12:28 p.m. Tuesday to 303 W. 14th St. in Fulton when two pit-bull terriers escaped from the house and attacked the postman.
