Trial dates have been set in two Mid-Missouri murder cases.
Sandra Plunkett, 37, Holts Summit, is scheduled to go to trial on Oct. 4 in Callaway County.
Plunkett has pleaded not guilty to a charge of first-degree murder in the killing of her husband, former Jefferson City police officer Paul Plunkett, 52, in their Holts Summit home on Jan. 1.
In Moniteau County, Jon Shikles, 26, of California, Mo., is scheduled to go to trial on Jan. 3, 2012.
Shikles has pleaded not guilty to one count of second-degree murder in the killing of Travis Higgins, 31, California, whose beaten body was found April 7 at the edge of an alley in the town of California.
