Dear Editor:
The people who put all grass and leaves in the street could save the city a lot of money if they would stop this. All they have to do is turn their lawn mowers and put the grass in their yards. It costs the city a lot of money to keep grass and leaves out of the drains.
In my neighborhood, I rake grass out of water drains.
Yes, I am for anything to keep the city clean. Everyone should pick up trash. I clean my street all of the time. I know a man who works for the city and he laughs at me. He said the city doesn't enforce the laws and this isn't a laughing matter.
I do all I can to keep things clean in my block. To have a team clean-up would be great.
