Cirilla's, which might be Jefferson City's first "adult" store, opened with little fanfare recently.

But one local woman who overcame sexual addiction is now fighting to get the store closed, or at least to prevent others like it from cropping up in the capital city.

The small shop, located in Wright Plaza beside Burger King, sells lingerie and adult novelty items, as well as sexually-oriented toys and DVDs. However, it's not being classified by the city as an adult business under city ordinance.
