Recall news

The following recalls have been announced:

-Beaver Street Fisheries Inc. of Jacksonville, Fla., is recalling select 5- to 7-pound tuna loins because they could have elevated histamine levels, which can cause an allergic reaction called scombroid poisoning. Symptoms of scombroid poisoning include: tingling or burning sensation in the mouth, facial swelling, rash, hives and itchy skin, nausea, vomiting or diarrhea. Three incidents of possible scombroid poisoning have been reported. The tuna loins were distributed to Alabama, Florida, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia.
