ATLANTA (AP) - Seimone Augustus scored 19 points and the Minnesota Lynx beat the Atlanta Dream 77-64 on Sunday for their fifth straight victory after a season-opening loss.
Augustus was 7 of 13 from the field and had six rebounds. She had 25 points Friday night in the Lynx's home victory over the Dream. Lindsay Whalen added 13 points, rookie Maya Moore had 12 points and eight rebounds, and Rebekkah Brunson had 10 points and 10 rebounds.
Lindsey Harding led Atlanta (1-5) with 14 points. Angel McCoughtry, Erika DeSouza and Coco Miller each scored 10 points.
Sun 83, Sky 68
UNCASVILLE, Conn. (AP) - Tina Charles scored 11 of her career-high 31 points in the fourth quarter and had 11 rebounds in Connecticut's victory over Chicago.
Kara Lawson added 13 points, and Asjha Jones had 12 for Connecticut, 4-1 after its third straight victory. Sylvia Fowles led Chicago (3-2) with 23 points and nine rebounds. Epiphanny Prince had 18 points, and Cathrine Kraayeveld added 13.
Mercury 93, Fever 89, OT
PHOENIX (AP) - Diana Taurasi scored seven of her 32 points in overtime, all on free throws, to lift Phoenix.
Candice Dupree had 21 points and 18 rebounds for the Mercury (1-3), who were the WNBA's last winless team. Marie Ferdinand-Harris added 17 points, including the final two free throws with 8.5 seconds left.
Jessica Davenport had 20 points and nine rebounds, Tamika Catchings added 17 and 15 rebounds for the Fever (3-3). Jeanette Pohlen also scored 17 points.
Ferdinand-Harris hit a 17-footer with 1:25 left in overtime to tie it the score at 89.
Indiana turned the ball over and Catchings fouled Taurasi with 21.7 seconds left and she hit the two free throws. She had made five straight earlier in the overtime to tie it at 87 after Indiana had scored the first five points.
Sparks 74, Storm 50
LOS ANGELES (AP) - Reserve forward Ebony Hoffman scored 12 points to lead a balanced offense as Los Angeles ended a seven-game losing streak to the Storm.
Kristi Toliver scored 11 points and Candace Parker and rookie Jantel Lavender each added 10 for Los Angeles (3-1). The Sparks, who started 1-6 last season, had lost the last five regular season meetings with the Storm, and were swept in the playoffs last year.
Sue Bird scored 15 points to lead Seattle (2-2), which came in allowing a league-low 68.6 points per game. Reigning MPV Lauren Jackson was held to nine points on 3-for-14 shooting.
The Sparks led 39-25 at halftime and didn't let the Storm get closer than nine in the second half.
