Little Theatre to offer "Scoundrels'

"Dirty Rotten Scoundrels" is the next production to be offered by The Little Theatre of Jefferson City.

This Broadway musical is based on the film of the same name.

It is about two fraudsters, Lawrence Jameson and Freddy Benson, living in a town not big enough for their scheming ways. They decide to set up a challenge and agree that the first person to steal $50,000 from a young actress will stay in town, while the other must leave.

The show, to be performed June 16-18, features music and lyrics by David Yazbek and is directed by Gara Loskill.
