SEDALIA, Mo. - The Jefferson City Post 5 American Legion Seniors opened their season by splitting a pair of games Saturday in the Sedalia Tournament.
In their opener, Post 5 routed Clinton 27-1.
Later Saturday, the local club dropped a 9-8 decision to Independence Hi-Boy.
Post 5 will play two games today in the event, facing Sedalia at 12:30 p.m. and Excelsior Springs at 5:30 p.m.
