No matter how much things change over the years, some things remain the same. Ron Cole knows that all too well. It's been a decade since the former Jefferson City head coach retired, but he's returned to the sideline, taking over as defensive coordinator for the Jays.
It's a position he's very familiar with, as he helped the Jays win nine state titles as defensive coordinator from 1975-1994 under then-coach Pete Adkins. And even though it's been 10 years since calling his last play in from the sidelines, things don't seem any different this time around.
