Hearing set for SW Mo. teacher

A hearing has been scheduled for a 29-year-old southwest Missouri elementary school teacher accused of molesting students.

Ralph Moyle, of Buffalo, has been charged with two counts of sexual contact with a student by a teacher, three counts of statutory sodomy, and one count each of attempted statutory sodomy and possession of child pornography.

A probable cause statement said Moyle was accused of inappropriately touching students at Long Lane Elementary School, where he taught third grade.

The Dallas County prosecutor's office said the case has been turned over to Attorney General Chris Koster's office. That office didn't immediately return a call seeking comment. The hearing is scheduled for Tuesday afternoon.

Moyle's lawyer didn't return a call seeking comment, and a phone number in Moyle's name has been disconnected.
