ST. LOUIS (AP) - A 17-month-old girl has died after a St. Louis accident in which a car struck a home.
Bella Houston of the Arnold area died Wednesday, two days after the one-car accident on an Interstate 55 exit ramp in south St. Louis.
Police say the 47-year-old driver lost control on the ramp and struck a road sign, a stairway and a tree before flipping over and coming to a rest against a home.
It did not appear that the home was badly damaged.
The driver was hospitalized in critical condition. Police did not disclose the relationship of the driver and the child.
