Triathlon to bring community together for exercise, fun

FULTON, Mo. - Organizers of the third annual Fulton Triathlon are hoping to draw more area residents to participate in a morning of healthy community fun Saturday.

Event organizer Brad Hegemann said he still is looking for more athletes to compete and more volunteers to help run the race, which features a 200-meter swim (eight lengths) at Oestreich Swimming Pool, a 10k (6.2-mile) road bike and a 2-mile cross country run.
