St. Louis man draw 290 years for child porn

ST. LOUIS (AP) - A St. Louis man convicted of making and possessing child pornography has been sentenced to 290 years in federal prison.

The U.S. Attorney's office says the sentence handed Tuesday to 43-year-old Leland Beasley is the longest ever imposed on any defendant in the Justice Department's Eastern District of Missouri.

A jury convicted Beasley in April of 10 counts of producing and two counts of possessing child pornography. The production charges involved 10 different victims.

Prosecutors said several of the victims were molested by Beasley and videotaped at Gamestation Sector 19, a video game shop he owned in St. Louis County.
