CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (AP) - Southeast Missouri State University's budget for the coming fiscal year will approach $100 million.
The Southeast Missourian reports that regents at the Cape Girardeau-based university on Wednesday approved a $96.7 million budget for fiscal 2012. It will include raises for 1.75 percent for faculty and 2 percent for staff.
Board members also approved $34.8 million in auxiliary budgets for the coming fiscal year, which begins Friday. Auxiliaries cover residence life, the campus bookstore and other student services.
The new budget includes a 4.8 percent increase in tuition and fees.
