ST. LOUIS - The Jefferson City Jays couldn't survive a 31-10 second-quarter blow by C.B.C. in a 69-51 loss Thursday in the Coaches vs. Cancer Shootout at St. Louis University.
The Jays (8-10) committed 26 turnovers, while the Cadets (15-6) grabbed 17 steals.
Seth Jackson led C.B.C. with a game-high 21 points, while Darion Rackley added 18.
Paul McMahon led the Jays with 14 points and grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds. The Jays, who have dropped six of their last seven games, made 17-of-21 free throws.
