THE VERDICT IS IN: Man convicted in 2009 robbery and shooting
Testimony resumes for a second day in the trial of a St. Louis man charged with a robbery and shooting that occurred in Jefferson City on East Capitol Avenue in October 2009.
Prosecutors charged Patrick Harris, 38 - who also is known as Patrick Evans - with first-degree assault, first-degree robbery, armed criminal action and unlawful possession of a firearm.
As the trial began Monday, Cole County Prosecutor Mark Richardson gave the jury details of what happened on Oct. 13, 2009, when Harris approached a group of seven people outside 611 E. Capitol Ave. around 10:22 p.m.
