Non-profit donates more than $2 million in volunteer hours in support of veterans

As is frequently the case with many companies, when someone acquires the necessary years of service to secure a retirement, their contributions to the organization oftentimes cease - or at a minimum - decline.

Nevertheless, with respect to the United States military, those who have served are joined by a legion of supporters in ensuring the sacrifices of veterans are never forgotten, and that our nation's heroes continue to receive an inspiring level of support long after war's end.

As a direct reflection of this selfless service, the Silver Star Families of America (SSFOA) recently announced the donation of more than $2 million to the Veterans Health Administration in the form of volunteer hours and material.
