WACO, Texas (AP) - Brittney Griner had 18 points with nine rebounds and No. 1 Baylor extended its winning streak to 13 in a row with a 70-39 victory over Oklahoma State on Saturday night.

Odyssey Sims 15 points on 5-of-6 shooting with three 3-pointers for the Lady Bears (16-1, 3-0 Big 12), whose overall winning streak matches the 13 in a row they have also won at home. Melissa Jones added 10 points and eight rebounds.

It was another lopsided conference loss for the Cowgirls (12-4, 0-3), who lost 82-57 against No. 7 Texas A&M earlier this week after losing their Big 12 opener by 18 to Kansas State. Their only other loss was by 28 points against third-ranked Duke last month.

No. 2 Connecticut 78, Louisville 55

HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) - Freshman Bria Hartley scored a career-high 24 points and No. 2 Connecticut won its 71st consecutive home game.

Hartley hit 10 of her 16 shots and had eight points during a 12-2 second-half run that broke open a close game. She also had eight rebounds. Maya Moore led the Huskies (16-1, 6-0 Big East) with 26 points.

Shoni Schimmel had 15 points and six assists for Louisville (12-7, 3-2), which forced 18 UConn turnovers, but also turned the ball over 18 times.

Connecticut played all but the first 46 seconds without guard Tiffany Hayes. The Huskies second-leading scorer left the game with a concussion after she collided with teammate Moore while going for a loose ball near midcourt.

No. 5 Tennessee 68, Vanderbilt 56

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Meighan Simmons scored 17 points as No. 5 Tennessee remained perfect in Southeastern Conference play.

The Lady Volunteers (17-2, 5-0) went on an 18-0 run in the first half during a 9:22 Commodores scoring drought to take a 21-5 lead. They took a 50-28 lead in the second half on a 3-pointer by Angie Bjorklund with 11:27 left.

Bjorklund and Glory Johnson each scored 14 points, Kamiko Williams hit 13 points and Kelley Cain grabbed 13 rebounds.

The Commodores (12-6, 3-2) used 48.6 percent shooting after halftime, hitting 5 of 9 from 3-point range, to chip away at Tennessee's lead. Jasmine Lister hit a 3 with 1:04 left that cut the margin to 64-56, but it was as close as Vanderbilt would get.

No. 6 West Virginia 70, No. 25 Syracuse 61

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) - Madina Ali scored a career-high 32 points and No. 6 West Virginia bounced back from its first loss of the season.

West Virginia (17-1, 4-1 Big East Conference) improved its school-record home winning streak to 29 games and moved to 3-0 against ranked teams this season.

Liz Repella added 12 points for the Mountaineers. Ali also had 10 rebounds for her fifth double-double of the season and the ninth of her career.

Elashier Hall scored 20 points for Syracuse (13-4, 1-3), which was playing only its second road game of the season. Leading scorer Kayla Alexander was held to four points, 10 below her average.

West Virginia, coming off a 69-54 loss at Marquette on Tuesday, used an 8-0 run in the final two minutes to put the Orange away.

No. 7 Texas A&M 85, Missouri 40

COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) - Danielle Adams had 19 points and six rebounds to lead No. 7 Texas A&M to its ninth straight win.

Tyra White added 16 points the Aggies (15-1, 3-0 Big 12), who are off to the best start in school history. The win was the seventh consecutive against Missouri.

The Aggies missed their first five field goal attempts before going on a 25-4 run over a seven-minute span to pull away early and take a 40-17 lead at halftime.

White had 10 points during the stretch and finished 2 for 3 from 3-point range. The Aggies shot 40 percent from behind the arc.

RaeShara Brown had 14 points and six rebounds for the Tigers (9-8, 1-2).

Texas A&M leads the nation in turnover margin and forced 18 turnovers in the first half while holding the Tigers to 17 points.

No. 10 UCLA 87, Oregon 57

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Markel Walker led five players in double figures with 14 points and UCLA won its fifth in a row while holding the Pac-10's second-best offense to a season low in points.

Doreena Campbell added 13 points, Darxia Morris and Atonye Nyingifa 12 each, and Jasmine Dixon 11 for the Bruins (15-1, 5-0 Pac-10), who continued the program's best start since the 1976-77 team opened 18-1.

Amanda Johnson scored 12 points for the Ducks (11-5, 2-3), who split their road trip after edging Southern California 79-76 on Thursday.

They came in averaging 76.4 points in coach Paul Westhead's famed run-and-gun offense that he successfully employed with Loyola Marymount's men's team in the late 1980s and early '90s.

But UCLA's pressure defense forced 31 turnovers and harassed the Ducks into 21 of 54 shooting.

No. 12 Notre Dame 82, Pittsburgh 50

PITTSBURGH (AP) - Skylar Diggins scored 20 points and No. 12 Notre Dame used an early 14-2 run to build a substantial lead.

Devereaux Peters added 15 points and 10 rebounds, and Natalie Novosel scored 15 for the Fighting Irish (15-4, 4-1 in Big East), who beat Pittsburgh (9-8, 1-3) for the 20th time in 23 games.

The first-half run, ended by fast-break baskets by Diggins, allowed the Irish to break out of a 6-all tie and take a 20-8 lead. They led 50-19 at halftime.

Notre Dame, which had lost its last two at Pitt, shot 46 percent (30 of 64) to Pitt's 32.7 percent (16 of 49) and led 46-28 in rebounding.

Taneisha Harrison scored 10 for Pitt.

Colorado 66, No. 17 Iowa State 60, OT

BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - Brittany Wilson scored a career-high 19 points and Brittany Spears had 18 to help Colorado snap a 24-game losing streak against ranked teams.

The Buffaloes (10-6, 1-2 Big 12) had also lost eight straight against Iowa State.

The Cyclones (13-4, 2-1) made only 7 of 31 shots in the first half, and missed five of six free throws in overtime.

Kelsey Bolte scored 26 points for the Cyclones and made a tying 3-pointer with 10 seconds left in regulation.

Colorado stretched a seven-point halftime lead to 40-27 early in the second. Iowa State went on a 12-2 run to close the gap to two points with 12 minutes to go.

Chelsea Dale scored 11 points, including two free throws in overtime to put Colorado up 64-60 with 42 seconds left.

No. 18 Georgetown 49, Providence 45

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - Monica McNutt had 17 points and a career-high 11 rebounds for her first double-double of the season.

It was the Hoyas' ninth straight win over the Friars.

Georgetown (14-4, 2-2 Big East Conference) won despite a season-low four points from Sugar Rogers, last year's Big East freshman of the Year.

Miranda Tate scored 15 points, including three 3-pointers, for Providence (8-8, 1-3) before leaving in the second half with an ankle injury.

Georgetown led by 11 points in the second half after McNutt's 3-pointer with 15:39 remaining put her over the 1,000-point mark for her career. The Friars cut it to four points on a 3-pointer from Lola Wells with 17 seconds remaining.

No. 23 Wisconsin-Green Bay 60, Illinois-Chicago 51

GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) - Julie Wojta scored 23 points and Kayla Tetschlag had 18.

The win was the 100th at Green Bay (17-1, 6-0 Horizon League) for Phoenix coach Matt Bollant, who reached the mark faster than any coach in program history.

Shameia Green scored 15 of her 20 points in the second half for the Flames (7-9, 2-3). Taylor Foulks added 12 points.

Trailing 38-18 at the break, Illinois-Chicago chipped away at the deficit and pulled within nine with less than 7 minutes remaining. However, back-to-back baskets by Tetschlag and Wojta pushed the lead back to double digits and the Flames never seriously threatened again.
