Two Holts Summit men were arrested during the weekend after they were involved in separate high-speed chases by area law enforcement officers.
Stanley Ronimous, 42, of 3393 Route AA, is in Cole County Jail after a high-speed, 40-minute chase that involved the Callaway County Sheriff's Department, Missouri Highway Patrol, Holts Summit Police and Jefferson City Police.
Sgt. Clay Chism of the Callaway County Sheriff's Department said his department was called to assist Jefferson City Police in a vehicle pursuit at 2:02 a.m. Saturday on Missouri 94 north of Jefferson City.
The second chase involved Callaway County deputies on Sunday near New Bloomfield.
Arrested on felony charges of resisting arrest and driving with a revoked license was William Jason Saffeel, 36, Holts Summit.
Chism said the chase began at 1:09 a.m. when deputies were patrolling near New Bloomfield.
