WARRENSBURG, Mo. -- The Lincoln Blue Tigers women's track and field team ran away from the field while capturing the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association Indoor Championships title Sunday with 113 points.
Shanna Kay Wright, Nyoka Cole, Judith Riley and the 4x400-meter relay all took first in four different events for the Blue Tigers.
Central Missouri finished second with 81 points.
On the men's side, Lincoln took first in five different events, but it wasn't enough for the Blue Tigers as Central Missouri took the title with 154 points. Emporia State came in second with 99.50 and Lincoln finished third with 98.
