WARDSVILLE, Mo. -- The Blair Oaks Lady Falcons know the road to the state playoffs is going to be a tough one.

They'll be up against some of the best competition in one of the toughest districts in Class 3, as District 9 includes the state's top-ranked team, St. James, along with fifth-ranked Hermann.

"It's going to be a tough one," Blair Oaks coach Leroy Bernskoetter said as the Lady Falcons prepared to open district play against Cuba at 5:30 p.m. today at St. James. "St. James is ranked No. 1 and Hermann is ranked fifth. And they've got the experience to go with it."
