Adrienne Skelton, near, Anthony Figueroa, both fifth-graders, and Brenden Janeczko and Hannah Hughes, both fourth-graders, look at and touch the SmartBoard received last week at Concord Christian School. They were amazed at the smooth texture of the new equipment. The board was donated and delivered by Hy-Vee and presented to an appreciative and excited school.
When the large cardboard box was opened to the lap-provided drum roll last week at Concord Christian School, James Hotz was a little disappointed.
"I thought it would look like a giant iPhone," Hotz said.
The unassuming white panel might have not looked like much upon delivery. But come this morning, the oldest class at the parochial school will be in for an educational adventure thanks to the Hy-Vee store donation of the interactive SmartBoard.
