SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (AP) - Springfield police say they are considering digging up a parking lot where some people have speculated that three missing women may be buried.

Springfield Police Chief Paul Williams has renewed interest in the case of 18-year-old Stacy McCall, 19-year-old Suzanne Streeter, and Suzanne's mom, Sherill Levitt. The three vanished from Levitt's home in June 1992.

Williams now has three detectives and one sergeant working on the case.

He also told The Kansas City Star it's a possibility that the department will dig under a hospital parking garage, where some think the three may have been buried.

The disappearances will also be the subject of a national television show on Investigation Discovery next month.
