At the 90th anniversary of Lincoln University's Founders' Day Convocation on Thursday, Debra Foster Greene encouraged students to keep fighting.

Past convocation speakers addressed wartime issues like in the 1942 speech titled, "The College, The Graduate and the Present Crisis;" 1943's "Education for Wartime Citizenship;" 1947's "Education in an Era of Change;" and 1950's "Education for Freedom and Change."

"These themes sound very contemporary to me," said Greene, who is department head of history, political science and philosophy at Lincoln.
