A modest winning streak deserves a celebration. Even if it is just a modest celebration.
"I told the girls to enjoy it, celebrate it and then (today), we're going to forget it because we need to get focused on the next one," Helias coach Doug Light said after the Lady Crusaders' 50-29 win Monday night over the Fulton Lady Hornets at Rackers Fieldhouse.
Paired with Saturday's 53-37 over Washington at the St. Francis Borgia Tournament, it's the first time Helias (7-13) has won consecutive games this season.
"We've got a little confidence going," Light said.
