Hydrologic information is available online from the National Weather Service at water.weather.gov.

While a National Weather Service hydrologist warned this week that towns along the upper part of the Mississippi River could be in for significant flooding this spring, the threat doesn't appear to be as significant along the Missouri River.

Despite all the snowfall we've gotten the last few weeks, officials with the National Weather Service in St. Louis believe the potential for flooding this spring along the Missouri River in Mid-Missouri are about the same as last year and maybe even less.

Hydrologist Mark Fuchs said the information they've got now shows the potential for high end minor flooding.
