Mayoral candidates weigh in on economic development

To say it has been on everyone's mind might be a bit of an understatement.

Whether it has been the Jefferson City Area Chamber of Commerce with its strategic plan, the City Council with its ad hoc committee on the revitalization of Old Town, or just discussion around the watercooler at work, improving Jefferson City's economic status has been on the minds of many residents and will likely weigh heavily when they go to the polls to vote next week.

As a result of that fact, all three of the candidates for Jefferson City mayor have also made it one of their highest priorities. But how to go about that task is a point on which the candidates differ.
