If you wanted to know if things were going to go Blair Oaks' way Thursday afternoon, all you had to do was look at one play.
And what a play it was.
With Stockbridge (Ga.) clinging to a 45-43 lead over the Falcons in a loser's bracket semifinal at the Mike Kehoe Great 8 Classic, the Tigers got the ball back with 1:25 left in the third quarter.
The Tigers went into a delay game and as the clock wound down, it appeared they might not even get a shot off. That's when Nathan Green lifted a one-handed runner from near the half-court circle.
Roughly 42 feet later, the heave splashed home right before the buzzer to give Stockbridge some crucial momentum the Tigers never surrendered in a 67-56 victory.
