Jefferson City man sentenced for home burglary

Cole County Presiding Judge Pat Joyce recently placed a Jefferson City man on five years supervised probation for pleading guilty to an amended charge in connection with a February home break-in.

Kenneth Gleason, 24, 7611 Wheat Lane, pleaded guilty to felony theft.

He had been charged with first-degree robbery and armed criminal action.

Gleason must also serve a 60-day sentence in the Cole County Jail.

Court records indicated Gleason was involved in a robbery in the 16500 block of Pit Road.
