A Meta man has been charged after leading Cole County sheriff's deputies on two foot chases Sunday night. He had to be Tasered to be taken into custody.
Eric Arnold, 35, was being sought on an outstanding warrant at a residence in the 2100 block of Country Club Drive. When deputies arrived at the residence, he ran out the back door into some woods.
Court records show Arnold has had at least four different cases since October in which he has either assaulted a law officer or resisted arrest by fleeing.
