The Cole County Grand Jury has indicted a Eugene man on one count of second-degree murder in connection with a shooting that occurred Sept. 2.
Court documents show Drew Puckett, 22, is accused of killing Caleb Crabtree, 28.
The probable cause statement was suppressed after the grand jury proceedings which occurred this week so there is no information as to what may have triggered the shooting.
Earlier reports indicated the Cole County Sheriff's Department was called to Puckett's address, 16803 Missouri 17, on Sept. 2, where the shooting occurred.
Crabtree was found dead at the scene.
Court records indicate that Crabtree had listed Puckett's address as his home address during earlier court proceedings.
