A Jefferson City man was treated for moderate injuries after crashing his Roadrunner scooter Friday morning.
According to police reports, Timothy Duncan, 51, was making a right turn from Industrial Drive to travel in the 300 block of Dix Road just after 9 a.m.
He slid on a patch of ice and lost control.
Duncan and his scooter went down on the pavement and skidded, striking the curb.
The scooter went over the curb, throwing Duncan off the vehicle, before eventually coming to a stop.
