Wreaths with bright red bows adorn the graves of the veterans buried in St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Wardsville.

The 19 seventh-graders, teachers and parish members at St. Stanislaus school and church rallied together since the start of December to bring the honor to the area's veterans.

The weekend of Dec. 3-4, a number of seventh-grade students like Evan Rackers, spoke to the congregation about the program that is similar to the Wreaths for Heroes program at the National Cemetery in Jefferson City.
