Extra practices provide a good opportunity for younger Tigers

COLUMBIA - The benefits of a bowl game seem obvious. The financial windfall, additional national exposure and the satisfaction of reaching the postseason are just a few. The Tigers have reaped those benefits for seven straight seasons.

But there is at least one benefit, hidden under the roof of the Dan Devine Practice Facility, that from a standpoint of keeping the program strong is important as well.

Missouri's young players are getting extra work and time with the coaches they don't get during the season. Time well spent according to several Missouri players and coaches.
