As December begins, so do Christmas season celebrations in Jefferson City.

Mayor's Christmas Tree Lighting

The sixth annual Mayor's Christmas Tree Lighting festivities will be held at 6 p.m. today at Rotary Park at the end of Bolivar Street.

Living Windows

A longtime Jefferson City tradition continues this year with Living Windows, in its 23rd year, from 6-9 p.m. Friday in the downtown area.

Candlelight Tours

Tours of the Governor's Mansion will be given from 6:30-9 p.m. Friday and from 2-4 p.m. Saturday.

Come to the Manger

The 10th annual Come to the Manger event will be 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Christmas Parade

The 72nd annual Jefferson City Jaycees Christmas Parade begins at 4:30 p.m. Saturday in the downtown area.
