Lady Crusaders making adjustments to lineup as season gets started

The season hasn't even started yet, but the Helias volleyball team has suffered a big loss, finding out last week sophomore middle hitter Anna Murphy will be sidelined with a stress fracture in her lower back.

"She can't do anything for four weeks and then they'll reevaluate it and we'll have to see after that," said Helias coach David Harris, whose team opens the season at 6:30 p.m. today at home against Sedalia Smith-Cotton.

Murphy, teaming with seniors Krista Haslag and Eli Sandbothe, had given Helias a group of middle hitters to drool over. But for now, the Lady Crusaders will ....
