William Woods welcomes 960 new students

Despite the economic downturn, 960 students enrolled for the fall semester at the Fulton campus of William Woods University, including 310 freshmen and transfer students.

When classes started Monday, the university welcomed 310 new students from 28 states and seven foreign nations. The foreign students' home countries include Brazil, Canada, China, England, Ireland, Israel and Taiwan.
