BLUE SPRINGS, Mo. - The doubles team of Molly Higgins and Eden Hoogveld battled to win the final game in their doubles match Monday to lift the Jefferson City Lady Jays to a 5-4 win over the Blue Springs South Jaguars.
In the final match to be completed, Higgins and Hoogveld held a 9-8 lead. Higgins, a senior, then totaled four straight points on her serve to win the No. 1 doubles match 10-8.
