COLUMBIA, Mo. - A pair of homers ruined Fatima's bid for a victory.
Rock Bridge hit a tying two-run home run and a walk-off three-run blast in the bottom of the seventh inning to defeat Fatima 8-5 on Thursday night.
Leah Kesel took the loss for the Lady Comets, tossing seven innings and allowing 12 hits to go along with two strikeouts and a walk. She also had two hits at the plate, as did Sammey Bunch and Erica Fick.
Fatima (3-2) plays Lee's Summit North in the Capital City Invitational today.
