The Jefferson City Wastewater Division located and stopped a sanitary sewer overflow Monday morning at 4118 Route C.
The area was cleaned.
The overflow caused a discharge to an unnamed tributary to the Moreau River.
The cause of the overflow has been determined to be a power failure to a pumping station.
The incident has been reported to the Missouri Department of Natural Resources.
