Kinder doesn't discuss claims at Mo. breakfast

SEDALIA, Mo. (AP) - Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder says he has nothing else to say about allegations from a former exotic dancer and Penthouse model.

Kinder told reporters at an annual political breakfast at the Missouri State Fair that he's done talking about the story.

Kinder, a Republican, was among many people who attended the breakfast and were greeted by Democratic Gov. Jay Nixon. Kinder is expected to challenge Nixon next year.

This week, Kinder acknowledged visiting an adult club about 10 times more than a decade ago but denied former model Tammy Chapman's claims that Kinder was forceful with her during lap dances.

Asked to comment on Kinder's suggestions that Democrats or the governor's campaign were behind the woman's claims, Nixon said "all that stuff is kind of disappointing and disturbing."
