New teachers offered advice, encouragement

Like more than 60 others in their profession, first-year teachers from Lewis and Clark Middle School received words of inspiration and gifts of encouragement Thursday from The Rotary Club of Jefferson City.

Rebecca Pund, who has been preparing her sixth-grade language arts classroom for the last week, has been waiting for her career in education to begin.
