Five-year-old Dawn Cook enjoyed her adventure Sunday evening after she wandered away from her grandmother's yard in a densely wooded area about three miles south of Calwood in Callaway County.

"But I don't want to do that again," Dawn said Monday after her Sunday night ordeal, "I scratched my legs."

Dawn said she and her dog Pepper were lost and then it got dark.
