Cole County farmer Kelly Forck is the apparent new owner of Lincoln University's Freeman Farm, 201 acres of Missouri River bottom land that LU auctioned off to the highest bidder Wednesday.
Forck reportedly bid $5,800 an acre for the property that LU curators voted just four weeks ago to sell.
